BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football's fifth-year WR Easton Messer joined Maria Trivelpiece on the American Conference's weekly show "All-American."
Along with his 262 all-purpose yards in the 51-49 win against Rice, Messer accomplished a feat that no FBS player has done this century: two receiving touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, and a punt return touchdown in the same game. He was awarded the American Offensive Player of the Week as well as the Paul Hornung Award National Player of the Week and Burlsworth Trophy Walk-On of the Week.
While the afternoon may have not started out according to plan, Messer more than made up for it with a historic performance.
