BOCA RATON, Fla. – Homecoming weekend at Florida Atlantic will be headlined by the football matchup against Rice this Saturday on Howard Schnellenberger Field at Flagler Credit Union Stadium. Sponsored by Ideal Nutrition, the afternoon will also mark a Celebration of Champions.
Kicking off at 12 p.m. on ESPNU, the Florida Atlantic Owls will look to remain unbeaten at home, pick up their second American Conference win as well as the second win over the Rice Owls in as many seasons. This is the seventh meeting between the two schools and the series stands at three wins each.
General public tickets start at $15 and can be purchased here, or by calling 1-866-FAU-OWLS. To avoid lines and increased charges, buy your tickets in advance. Tickets for FAU students are free and can be claimed by clicking here. To avoid congestion at the gates, fans are encouraged to download their tickets digitally on a smartphone or mobile device before arriving at Flagler Credit Union Stadium.
Publix Paradise Plaza opens to fans at 9:30 a.m. and includes inflatables, food trucks, games, giveaways and sponsor activations. The Owls Pregame Live concert featuring Odyssey Road, a Journey tribute band, starts playing at 10 a.m.
Florida Atlantic Athletics in conjunction with Islamorada, the Owls official craft beer sponsor, are offering a 3-2-1 Draft Beer Deal. Beginning pregame and through the first quarter, draft beer will be $3. In the second quarter and through halftime, the price drops to $2. In the third quarter, draft beer will be just $1.
There will be two points of sale for the 3-2-1 Beer Deal during Saturday's game, each located on the first level of Flagler Credit Union Stadium. Those will be the only points of sale for the 3-2-1 promotion. All other concession stands throughout the Stadium will be selling canned beers at their normal prices.
The 3-2-1 promo is open to all fans ages 21 years and older. There is a limit of one beer per transaction, and all transactions will be cashless. All stadium alcohol sales end at the conclusion of the third quarter.
During the game, one lucky FAU student will have the chance to win $10,000 as part of Flagler Credit Union's 10K Paradise Payday. 2,000+ students at the game will allow for one 50-yard field goal try for the prize money, with each additional 1,000 students up to 5,000 shortening the field goal by five yards.
As part of the Celebration of Champions, former Florida Atlantic National Champion and Olympian swimmer Bela Szabados as well as the 2025 American Conference Champions and NCAA Tournament participant men's soccer team will be recognized during the second quarter.
Tailgating may begin when parking lots open at 8 a.m. (four hours prior to kickoff), and don't miss the Owl Walk at 9:45 a.m. – as the team unloads the buses and walks through the Student Tailgates in Lot 5 before entering the stadium. Click here to buy parking in advance.
Premium gates open at 10 a.m. with general stadium gates opening at 10:30 a.m. While supplies last, there will be a giveaway of an Owl chain for fans entering Gates 1 and 2. Flagler Credit Union Stadium operates with a Clear Bag policy. For other stadium and fan information, click here.
