BOCA RATON, Fla. – Limited opportunities remain for Florida Atlantic fans to cheer for their Hometown Team in the spring of 2026.
Outdoor track and baseball continue to compete this week. The track team will be at the American Conference Championship in Denton, Texas, while four home events remain on the 2025-26 Owls' calendar.
The third and final stop of the Hometown Team Tour will be Wednesday, May 13 at the Coral Springs' Miller's Ale House. On Thursday, baseball will begin its final three-game series of the season when the Owls play host to East Carolina, who hope to hang on to one of the top four spots in the league standings to earn a bye. The Owls are currently tied with Memphis at No. 5 and one game shy of fourth.
Along the way, FAU will recognize baseball's Head Coach John McCormack, who earned his 600th career head coaching victory two weeks ago at USF and took part in his 1000th game as a head coach versus Wichita State last Friday. In total, McCormack has represented the Owls 2076 times as either an assistant, associate or head coach. Friday will be about the Owl seniors who are playing in their final home series as an Owl. Saturday will conclude the regular season for all 2025-26 Athletics.
