Quotable
Head Coach Heather Bowie Young
"I am extremely proud of the way the team performed this week. Sometimes you don't see results right away, but we have been getting better every day. I'm glad they have the belief to keep moving forward and growing. They trust they are making progress and showed today. Go Owls!"
Individual Champion Tina Genoulaz
"To win in my first event feels unreal! I stayed concentrating on my process goals until the end, playing one shot at a time. I focused on the present. I didn't even know my score. It was such a great moment with the team, and now we go back to practice with even more motivation for the next event. Go Owls!"
What's Next
- The Owls will have a quick turnaround as they look to start the fall with back-to-back victories. Next up is a trip to Greenville, North Carolina, next Monday and Tuesday (October 6-7) for the ECU Pirate Collegiate Classic.
