American Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents for 2026-27

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced 2026-27 in-conference opponents for the Florida Atlantic men's basketball team. Conference play begins Wednesday, Dec. 30, and runs through Sunday, March 7, 2027.
The '26-'27 slate marks the fourth in the American for the Owls, and the third under Head Coach John Jakus. In all four years, the program has finished above .500 overall, toward a program-record eight consecutive winning seasons. FAU returns four players to go along with 11 newcomers for the upcoming campaign.
The opposition coming to Boca Raton only are the trio of Memphis, Temple and Wichita State; the Owls will travel for singular road trips to take on East Carolina, Tulane and UTSA.
Home-and-home matchups will take place against the six remaining American teams: Charlotte, North Texas, Rice, South Florida, Tulsa and UAB.
All game days and tipoff times will be announced at a later date, as will FAU's 2026-27 non-conference schedule.
