Pizzoccheri's Double-Double Not Enough in Loss to Blue Raiders
Alessia Pizzoccheri's ninth double-double of the season was not enough to overtake Middle Tennessee, as the Florida Atlantic University volleyball team lost to the Blue Raiders in four sets (25-22, 17-25, 25-22, 25-18) on Friday night.

FAU will play Louisiana Tech at 8 p.m. eastern on Friday. The Bulldogs (7-18, 1-9) will enter Friday's match on a seven match losing streak, but just a game behind FAU in the conference standings. Middle Tennessee will be the Owls' opponent on Sunday. The Blue Raiders (15-10, 6-4) are familiar foes for FAU, the two teams met twice a year when both were members of the Sun Belt Conference.
