BOWLING GREEN, KY - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team lost to #20 Western Kentucky in straight sets (25-17, 25-12, 25-15) on Saturday.
The loss puts the Owls at 6-13 on the year and 1-6 in conference play, while the Hilltoppers go to 22-3 and 8-0 in the Sun Belt.
Darija Sataric led FAU in kills (six) and digs (seven) on the night. The Owls were their own worst enemy in the match, committing 15 attack errors and 10 service errors. Isabelle Arboleda made a solid contribution off the bench, contributing four kills, seven digs and a block.
Western Kentucky's Heather Boyan was the only player on either team to reach double-digit kills with 13.
