BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team was swept in three sets by the University of Miami Hurricanes on Saturday night.

FAU (7-4) got off to a slow start in both of the first two sets and the Hurricanes took advantage taking the sets 25-15 and 25-18 respectively. The Owls took a 4-1 lead in set number three before Miami rallied to take a 13-9 lead. FAU pulled to within one at 18-17, but the Hurricanes sealed the win with a 8-1 run to end the match.
