Middle Blocker


As a junior ('07): Led the team with 95 blocks on the season...had 10 double-digit kill matches, including a season-high 15 against South Alabama...named to the UCF Invitational All-Tournament Team where she had 39 kills and 17 total blocks over the weekend...had a .500 hitting percentage (10-2-16) match against Western Kentucky.

As a sophomore ('06): Moved to the right side and played the back row...had a season-high 10 kills against Louisiana-Lafayette...had five matches with double-digit digs, including a career-high 18 against North Texas...also had a season-high seven blocks in that match...matched that total against UCF...finished second on the team with 71 blocks.

At the Sun Belt Tournament ('06): Finished with four kills, four digs and three block assists against Middle Tennessee.

As a freshman ('05): Led the conference with a .321 hitting percentage to be named First Team All-Conference and the A-Sun Freshman of the Year...her hitting percentage ranks her third in FAU history in that season category...finished the season third in total points in the league with 4.23 points per game...finished sixth in kills per game in the A-Sun at 3.31...against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 2 finished with a .700 hitting percentage with 14 kills and no errors in 20 attempts...was one block shy of the school record after tallying nine against Fairfield on Sept. 3...named to the All-Tournament Teams at the FAU Invitational where she hit .400 with three service aces and 15 blocks in her first collegiate the FAU DoubleTree Classic earned recognition after she hit .403 with seven service aces and 16 blocks in three matches...her season-high five aces came in that tournament against Furman.

At the A-Sun Tournament ('05): Named to the A-Sun All-Tournament Team after she finished second on the team with 18 kills (2.57 kills per game) and a team-leading 11 blocks...14 kills came in the championship match against Belmont when she hit .500.

High School: Played for Tracey Berry at Page High School and was a member of the state championship team from 2001-03...named All-State in Tennessee...was a member of the Scholars Program, Gifted Program and All A-Honor Roll.

Club Volleyball: Played for Impact Volleyball Club which placed fifth at Junior Olympics...named to the All-Tournament Team at Junior Olympics.

Personal: Public communication major...daughter of Dean and Melissa Arvidson...born Oct. 8, 1986, in Walnut Creek, CA...hobbies include photography, traveling and interior design.
