Women's Tennis Ready for Sun Belt Conference Championships
Senior Marlene Ryan has posted a 9-8 record this season

Boca Raton, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team will face ULM in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Thursday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at Lafayette, La.

If successful, the Owls would then face Georgia State University in a quarterfinal round match on Friday, April 19 at 11 a.m.

FAU has an 8-9 record during the regular season and had a five-match winning streak during the course of this spring.

Senior Marlene Ryan has posted a 9-8 record this spring, including five wins at No. 1 singles and a 4-2 record at No. 2 singles.

Sophomore Catalina Ene also won nine spring singles matches, with six victories on the second court. Senior Natasha Basma rounds out the team's balanced lineup with nine wins in 2013, highlighted by a 7-7 record at No. 3 singles.
