Sophomore Catalina Ene won 11 singles matches last season

Boca Raton, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team will seek its first victory of the spring season when UCF comes to Patch Reef Park on Saturday, February 2 for a 11 a.m. match.

The Owls opened the season with a home loss to No. 9-ranked University of Miami on Friday, January 11 - starting a three-match home stand to start the spring campaign. The team will also host Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, February 9.

Senior Marlene Ryan anchors the FAU singles lineup, posting a 10-2 record last season. Sophomore Catalina Ene won 11 singles matches and teamed with senior Natasha Phillips to capture six doubles matches in 2012. Senior Natasha Basma recorded seven singles matches.

Patch Reef Park is located at 2000 Yamato Road in Boca Raton.
