Jacksonville, FL - Rain forced action at the Hasting's Memorial/JU Invitational to conclude early, but not before Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team made its mark on the second day. Alena Dvorakova, the nation's 47th ranked player, advanced along with teammate Veronika Koksova into the "Flight A" semifinals. If the cards play right, the Lady Owl teammates could face each other in finals Sunday afternoon.

Sophomore Stephanie Oldock turned in a solid performance as well. Oldock combined with Stephanie Beaulieu for victory in the "Flight B" doubles third round and advanced by default into the semifinals of the "Flight B" consolation bracket.
