Denton, TX - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team saw its 2012 season come to an end with a loss to top seed and nationally ranked University of North Texas 4-0 on Friday in Denton, Texas. The Owls ended the season with a 10-8 record.
The doubles team of freshman Catalina Ene and junior Natasha Phillips picked up FAU's lone victory in the match with an 8-5 triumph at No. 3 doubles.
The host Mean Green won singles matches at No. 4, 5 and six positions to clinch the victory.
The match concluded the careers of seniors Justine Humair, Cassie Bergeson and Erika Mrazkova.
