BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women’s tennis defeated Jackson State on Friday 4-0. The match moved due to possible bad weather in the Tallahassee area was originally scheduled as a double header on Sunday. The win moves FAU to a 9-9 overall record on the season with one more match to play.

FAU won the doubles point with wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles position. FAU freshman Bianca Biglione and FAU senior Stephanie Cardullo defeated Julie Angermann and Anastasiia Zviahintseva 8-5. FAU freshman Lyndsey Boos and FAU junior Catalina Ene defeated Reddy and Japplon 8-2.

In singles competition, FAU freshman Kandis Legall defeated Angela Condorelli 6-1, 6-0. FAU senior Stephanie Cardullo defeated Anastasiia Zviahintseva 6-3, 6-2. FAU freshman Bianca Biglione defeated Kesica Jayapalan 6-1, 6-0.

FAU plays their last match of the regular season tomorrow April 5, at 3 p.m. against Florida A&M in Tallahassee, FL.
