BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team played its third match in four days Saturday afternoon, all decided by a 4-3 score. On Saturday, the victor was Dartmouth.
FAU dropped the doubles point despite a victory at no. 1 with Katherine Bartnik and Kecht defeating Megan Zebroski and Mary Beth Winingheim.
Wendling was the first to score a point for FAU with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Mary Beth Winingheim at no. 2. Pia Terol was the next to score for FAU with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win over no. 5 seed Jesse Adleer.
The match was decided at no. 3 singles, but the remaining players finished their matches for the 4-3 final.
FAU will next play host to UMass, March 20 at Patch Reef Park.
