BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 14, 2014) – Florida Atlantic women’s tennis fell to Middle Tennessee on Friday 5-2. FAU coming off a big win Thursday over Hillsdale hoped the momentum would carry over but was unable to get past a tough MTU team. The lost drops the Owls to 6-8 on the season and 0-2 against conference opponents. FAU only managed two wins on the day both in singles.

FAU junior Natalia Tomaszewicz defeated Flavia Nagayama 7-5, 6-4 for her sixth win on the season. Tomaszewicz has only one lost in dual matches this season (Davidson), and has a record of 6-1 FAU freshman Bianca Biglione defeated Sarah Sediri 6-1, 6-3 for her fourth consecutive win and her ninth win on the season. Biglione has an overall recod of 9-4 and is second on the team in wins this season.

FAU looks to bounce back Sunday March 16, at 11 a.m. against Buffalo at home at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton.
