BOCA RATON,FL - Pia Terol captured a hard fought three set match in Florida Atlantic University's 4-3 loss to Miami University, on Wednesday.

Claudia Kecht and Katherine Bartnik captured their doubles match 8-6 at no. 1 but saw the Owls go down 1-0 after doubles play.

Miami took the lead as well as points at no. 6 and no. 3 singles before FAU rallied with a point with no. 4 Natalia Totevska's victory over Kristen McPhillips 6-1, 6-3. Pia Terol and Elodie Wendling were the last two to come off the court both with victories.

Wendling captured no. 2 against Leda Pesatova 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 and Terol won at no. 5 6-7 (3), 6-3, 1-0 (10-8).

FAU will next play host to Army, 1 p.m. Friday at Patch Reef Park.
