BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team won its eighth consecutive match, improving to 11-3 on the year with a 4-0 win against Florida A&M University, Sunday afternoon in Boca Raton, FL. The Rattlers were heavily outmatched against the Lady Owls, playing with only five. Alena Dvorakova and Veronika Koksova recorded singles wins for FAU.

Dvorakova's, 6-0, 6-0, win at no. 2 came with the Lady Owls already leading 1-0 after the doubles point. The junior from Prague, Czech Republic has won 12 consecutive singles matches.

Koksova followed Dvorakova with a win at no. 3. Koksova was leading Anita Abad, 5-2, in the first set when Abad retired.

FAU's fourth and finalizing point came at no. 6 by default.

In doubles, Dvorakova paired with Karolina Roubickova to win, 9-7, at no. 1. At no. 2, Krystel Borg and Tania Rivera downed Charlana Brown and Zama Mkhize, 8-2.

The Lady Owls next face the University of Massachusetts, 10:00 am March 15, in Boca Raton, FL.
