DeLand, FL - Playing its second Atlantic Sun match in two days, Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team defeated Stetson University 5-2 for its first conference win of the spring season. The Lady Owls swept the Hatters in doubles competition while the top-three seeds easily outmatched their opponents. FAU improves to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the A-Sun.
In singles, Alena Dvorakova, Veronika Koksova, Karolina Roubickova and Krystel Borg each recorded a point. Dvorakova easily defeated Milica Milovanic 6-1, 6-2 for her fifth consecutive win. Koksova and Roubickova also made quick work of their opponents, winning 6-2, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-2, respectively. Borg closed out her match against Jennifer Wisnoski at the fifth position with a 6-0, 7-5 win.
The Lady Owls host Toledo Saturday, March 6 at 10 am.
