Krystel Borg - singles winner in loss to UCF

BOCA RATON - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team dropped a close Atlantic Sun conference contest to UCF on Saturday afternoon, 4-3. After dropping the doubles point, the Owls (1-2, 1-1) could only split the six singles contests. An 11 a.m. match against Stetson on Sunday will complete FAU's stretch of three A-Sun games in four days.

Senior Alena Dvorakova, coming off Thursday's defeat of reigning A-Sun Player-of-the-Year Emese Sulyos, won at No. 1 singles. Joining her in the win column were Krystel Borg at No. 3 and Claudia Kecht at No. 5.
