Assistant Coach

After a standout playing career for the men's squad at Florida Atlantic, Daniel Vardag joined the coaching ranks as an assistant coach for the women's tennis team in August 2012.

Vardag played at FAU from 2007-11 and ranks fourth in program history with 98 total victories and tallied the fifth highest doubles win total with 46 victories in his career.

He won a career-high 17 singles matches during the 2008-09 season. Vardag teamed with Eddie Majcher to win 12 doubles matches in 2007, tying for seventh place in school history for a single season.

Vardag earned a degree in finance from FAU in 2011 and is currently working on a Master's Degree from FAU. He was named to the University's and Sun Belt Conference's Academic Honor Roll following each year.

A native of Scotland, Vardag played high school tennis at St. Andrews High School in Boca Raton.
