Hilary Cornelius joins the women's tennis program as a volunteer assistant coach in the fall of 2011. She brings 12 years of coaching at private clubs and various camps in the northeast. Cornelius played for Millersville University (Pa.) from 1999-2003. Her efforts helped lead the team to four years qualifying for the NCAA Division II championship tournament. Cornelius was a member of three PSAC conference championship and the NCAA East Regional championship. She will focus on doubles and is a strong believer that college is one of the few places where players can develop their doubles game while helping their singles all-court game. Cornelius received a BA in Psychology with a minor in athletic coaching. She is currently working on a Sport and Exercise Psychology Masters degree at Barry University, conducting research specifically about tennis. |
