Florida Atlantic University's swim team traveled to Miami to compete against conference rival Florida International and Big 10 teams Iowa and Purdue. The dive competition was held in Boca Raton at FAU. Using a championship scoring system, the FAU women outscored Iowa and FIU, but were not able to overcome a strong performance by Purdue. The men, only competing against Purdue and Iowa, finished third.

Senior Lindsey Alexander won her fifth race of the season with a victory in the 200 yard IM, clocking 2:09.32, only .20 ahead of second place. Alexander also took fifth in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 59.98. Fellow senior Jennifer Forcht had a good day in the pool, taking nearly one second off of her best time of the season in the 100 yard butterfly, touching the pad in 57.51.

Mikolaj Czarnecki and Nicholas Schwab each achieved their best time this year in the 200 yard freestyle, with Czarnecki finishing fourth in 1:44.31 and Schwab in seventh with a time of 1:45.97. Csaba Pek continued to add to his win total, claiming a victory in the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:53.95. Pek was runner-up in the 100 yard backstroke (52.71) and sixth in the 100 yard breaststroke (59.73). Both teams ended their day well by clocking some of their best times in the 200 yard freestyle relay. Forcht, Stephanie DeRito, Erin Hersey and Jonna Nyback registered a 1:38.66 in the 200 yard freestyle relay, fast enough for third. The men put Czarnecki, Tyler Griffith, Jonathan Van Zee and Anthony Fermin on their relay team and posted a seasonal best of 1:29.36.
