BOCA RATON, FL - Megan Knapp and Alisha Noble won their match at no. 5, but the Florida Atlantic sand volleyball team lost its dual match to Georgia State 4-1 on Friday.

Knapp and Noble swept the Panthers' tandem of Karlee Kavanaugh and Alexis Townsend 21-8 and 21-17. Isabelle Arboleda and Megan Evans struggled in their match at no. 1.

Alessia Pizzoccheri and Jelena Jovanovic (no.2), Andrea Galinis and Darija Sataric (no. 3) and Gabriella Pyle and Jennifer St. Sume (no. 4) were all competitive in their matches, but couldn't pull off the victory.
