BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University head softball coach Joan Joyce has signed three players to join the Owls in the fall of 2013.

Delaney Rickey played six years of varsity softball at The Episcopal School in Jacksonville. She was also a five-year member of the varsity cross country team and three-year member of the varsity basketball team. She hit a city best .618 as a junior and led the team with 13 stolen bases. She also helped her club team, the Gulf Coast Hurricanes, to a fourth place national finish.

Amanda Wilson (Providence Catholic HS/New Lenox, IL) will pitch for the Owls who set school records for career wins (44) and strikeouts (370) in the circle. At the plate, the left-handed Wilson holds the school record with 42 doubles and hit .409 with 76 RBIs as a junior.

Kylee Hanson (Jupiter, FL/Jupiter HS) is an all-state performer who led theWarriors to their first state tournament appearance as a junior, going 18-5 with a 0.49 ERA. She threw 15 shutouts last season and was named Class 8A Pitcher of the Year, as well as Large School Pitcher of the Year by The Sun-Sentinel.

All three players will join the Owls for the 2014 season.
