BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University had two players named to the NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete Team. Ashlyn Parmerter and Taylor Fawbush both made the team.

The team is comprised of players submitted by a member coach who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2010-11 academic year. Parmerter, who completed her eligibility last season, graduated in the spring with a degree in marketing.

Fawbush, is a rising junior majoring in health administration. Both players played a major role in the Owls advancing to the championship game of the 2011 Sun Belt Tournament.
