BOCA RATON, Fla. - (Feb. 26, 2017) – Florida Atlantic University’s softball team got another win at the FAU Tournament on Sunday, defeating Memphis 5-0.

I’m looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow and preparing my team for the first road trip of the season to LSU this weekend.”

Lochten led off the game with a homerun to right field, as she also did in Saturday’s game against Florida A&M. In the bottom of the third inning, Palmer got on base via a bunt, stole second, then scored on a Miller single to left field. Miller scored on a single to right field by Davis for the final run of the inning. Palmer scored the final run of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning on an error by the Memphis first baseman.
