Owls Fall 5-4 to Rutgers in 15-Inning Marathon

Game is Longest Regular Season Contest in Program History

Junior (2006): Dominated down the stretch when the team needed her most, including the Atlantic Sun Championship and the NCAA Regional...finished the year with a 2.72 ERA...posted a 12-9 record in 141.1 innings in 27 appearances, starting 18 games and completing 13...gave up 116 hits, walking 56 while striking out 127...opponents batted a miniscule .219 against her...hit .229 at the plate (8-for-35)...posted two doubles and knocked in two runs...earned her first win as an Owl on Opening Day with a five-inning 8-0 shutout over Bethune-Cookman, striking out four and allowing two hits...struck out six in four innings versus Pittsburgh (2/11)...threw seven shutout innings before dropping a 3-0 decision to Seton Hall (3/11)...punched out six and gave up four hits in a 6-1 win over Belmont (4/14)...earned her first save as an Owl versus Jacksonville with one inning of relief (4/23)...punched out 11 versus Jacksonville in a 4-0 win (4/23)...made it 22 punchouts in two games after striking out 11 versus North Florida in a 5-4 win...went 2-0 with 13 strikeouts, holding opponents to a .196 average as FAU won its ninth A-Sun title in the conference tournament...allowed only a bloop single to first in a 5-0 win over Stetson in the winner's bracket final, striking out eight (4/12)...went the distance to win the championship-clinching game, striking out five and scattering nine hits in an 8-4 win over Stetson (4/13)...had a dominant NCAA Regional, throwing 22.2 innings in four games, allowing five earned runs on 18 hits...went seven strong innings, giving up four hits and two runs (one earned) while walking one and striking out four in a 2-0 win over Florida in the opening round of the Gainesville Regional (5/19)...took a tough 1-0 loss versus South Florida, pitching a six-inning complete game allowing just three hits (solo homerun) and punching out five without walking a batter...came on in relief to pick up the save in the team's second meeting with UF in the regional, throwing 2.2 innings of shutout softball while giving up one hit and striking out five of the nine batters she faced (5/20)...took the loss in a 7-4 loss to South Florida in the Regional Final, going seven innings while allowing seven runs (four earned) on 11 hits and one walk while striking out eight.

Junior College (2004-05): Played for Linda Derk at Palm Beach Community College...earned Second Team All-Conference in both 2004 and 2005...Dean's List member in 2005.

Travel Ball: Played for the Jupiter Seahawks, a team that finished third in the NSA Softball World Series 16U, and second place honors in the NSA Softball Super World Series 16U.

High School: Played for Rick Williams at Jupiter High School where she earned All-Area honorable mention honors in 2001, was named best offensive player in 2002 and 2003 as well as First-Team All-Conference...named to the Warrior "Wall of Fame" in 2003 and was the Gatorade Will-to-Win Athlete...two-sport athlete (softball and basketball ('01, '02)...academically, she was a member of the Order of Academic Excellence from 2000-03 and was an Honor Roll member from 2000-03.
