Junior (2003): Played in and started all of the team's 72 of four players to do so...batted .263...received A-Sun All-Academic honors...set FAU season record and led the A-Sun with 19 doubles...also had two homers and one triple...set FAU record and led the A-Sun with 232 at-bats...tied the team high and was second in the A-Sun with 14 sacrifice bunts...had twelve multiple-hit games and six games with at least three hits...tied career-high with four hits March 20 against Manhattan...went 4-for-8 with 3 RBIs and a homer in doubleheader at UCF April 26, helping FAU clinch the A-Sun regular season championship...named to the All-Tournament Team at the A-Sun Championship for the second straight year... went 7-for-20 (.350) with five doubles in six starts at the tournament.

Sophomore (2002): Played in and started all of team's 75 games...only player to do so...named First-Team All-Conference...hit .279 with six homers and 28 RBIs...also finished with 10 doubles and 29 runs...had a .417 slugging percentage...led outfielders with 15 assists...received A-Sun All-Academic honors...named to the Academic All-Region Team...named to All-Tournament Team at A-Sun Championship...named A-Sun Player-of-the-Week on March 11 and again on April 8...had 17 multiple-hit games with a career-high four hits April 7 against Troy State...had an eight-game hitting streak from March 5 through March 10 in which she hit .636 (14-for-22) with two homers, six RBIs and six runs...streak helped her win her first POTW honor...went 4-for-5 with two RBIs April 7 against Troy State...went a combined 6-for-8 with three RBIs in TSU doubleheader propelling her to her second POTW award...went 2-for-4 with a homer in team's regular season finale victory May 7 at Florida State...batted .333 in A-Sun Tournament

Freshman (2001): Played in 53 games and started 36...batted .164 with three RBIs...had 18 hits in 110 at bats...had two doubles while scoring 21 runs with six walks...led the team with 11sacrifice hits...went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI April 19 against Mercer.

High School: Attended Olympic Heights High was her father, Jim Matthews...two-time Boca Raton News softball Player-of-the-Year...2000 Palm Beach County Player-of-the-Year...four-time Sun-Sentinel all-county selection...two-time Palm Beach Post all-county honoree, three-time Palm Beach Post all-area...four-time Boca Raton News all-city selection...four-sport athlete (softball, soccer, volleyball, and swimming).

Personal: Psychology major...daughter of Jim and Betsy Matthews....born January 22, 1982 in Newark, NJ...professional goal is to become a sports psychologist.
