Christina Langer shot her lowest round since joining Florida Atlantic University last season

MIAMI, Fla. - Sophomore Christina Langer shot her lowest round since joining Florida Atlantic University last season at the 36th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational on Tuesday. She carded a third round score of 69 to tie for 19th overall.
Langer shot 77 strokes in the first round tying for 43rd-place, but was able to improve her finish after carding rounds of 76 and 69.
Jacqueline Shelly took FAU's top finish overall, tying for 12th with a score of 217. Shelly has consistently finished as FAU's top scorer at her first five tournaments since transferring from Mercer University this year. The sophomore shot rounds of 75, 72 and 70.
Emily Peters finished tied for 73rd after shooting rounds of 78, 79 and 82 for a tournament total of 239. Nicole Marino and Madden Leen rounded out FAU's finishers earning 81st and 92nd-place, respectively. Marino shot 85, 79 and 84 for a combined score of 248 while Leen carded 87, 94 and 90 totaling 271.
FAU finished the tournament in 15th-place with a team total of 926. The Owls were just two shots behind Bethune-Cookman in 14th. Missouri claimed victory at FIU with a three-round score of 873 while an FIU golfer earned individual first-place honors.
The Owls will compete in Deland, Fla. on Nov. 4-5 at the 2013 Hatter Classic for their final fall tournament.
