Jennifer Norton stands in 12th place individually after shooting a one-over-par during the opening day of the 32nd Pat Bradley Invitational

Jennifer Norton's one-over-par score highlighted Florida Atlantic University women's golf team's performance over the opening 36 holes of the 32nd Pat Bradley Invitational on Monday in Fort Myers, Fla. The tournament features NCAA Division I teams from the South and Midwest.
Norton, a senior from Port St. Lucie, fired her lowest round of the fall season with an even-par 72 score at the Pelican Preserve Country Club. She came back with a 73 in the second round to tie for 12th place in the individual competition.
As a team, the Owls stand in 12th place after shooting the lowest round of the season over the second 18 holes played on Monday. The team's 610 team score is within 13 strokes of moving into the top 10 of the tournament.
Other FAU performers included freshman Marilyne Cadieux, who shot two consistent rounds in the 70s, featuring an even-par 72 in the second round. Her 148 score is tied for 20th place heading into the final 18 holes of competition.
Sophomore Anna Wiklund carded two 78 rounds for a 156 score, while junior Elisabetta Bertini shot a 77 in the second round to finish at 161 and senior Gina Larsen followed close behind by two strokes at 163.
Furman leads the tournament following Monday's two rounds. The tournament field also features Florida International and North Texas of the Sun Belt Conference and Midwest teams from Missouri State, Drake, Cincinnati and Bradley.
The final round begins at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
