Cadieux and Leen Improve by Six Strokes on Day Two

Round 2 Results Get Acrobat Reader

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL - Two FAU women's golfers picked up six strokes on Monday at round two of the Pat Bradley Invitational.

Marilyne Cadieux had the day's best score, an 81, besting her 87 from Sunday. Madden Leen improved from 90 to 84.

Emily Peters leads the way with a two-day 164 (81-83), tying for 53rd. Two strokes behind her is Nicole Marino (80-86) with a 166, while Cadieux has a 168.

Christina Langer is at 172 (85-87), while Leen has a 174.

The team as a whole finished up Monday just about the same as the first day, shooting a 334 after the first day 333, and the total of 667 keeps them in 13th place. FIU continues to lead with a 590, 15 strokes ahead of Boston College. Daytona State's Mary Dawson shot a tournament record 67 to lead the individuals (77-67--144), by one stroke over FIU's Sophie Godley.

Round three finishes up from the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.
