Florida Atlantic University's Natalia Navarro won the Hatter Fall Classic with a final round 78 on the par 72 course to finish three strokes ahead of the second place finisher and with a 226 total (76-72-78). The team finished in sixth place tied with Jacksonville University with a final score of 969 on the 6,015 yard course.
Jessica Carafiello (Coral Springs, FL) made a jump from 26th to ninth with the tournaments third-round low of 75. She had a three-round total of 236.
Amanda Pettit and Kendell Kirby both shot their lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday. Pettit shot an 80, while Kirby shot an 85 for 46th and 81st place finishes, respectively.
The University of South Florida won the tournament with a final score of 949. Miami (950), Rollins (952), Mississippi (955), and Florida Southern (959) rounded out the top five.
The team will next travel to the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational October 31 through November 2nd in Miami.
