Women's Golf Jumps One Spot at FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational

Miami, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team jumped one spot to 14th after Saturday's second round of the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational thanks to improved scores from four of the five Owls competing. The tournament is being held on the 6,072-yard, par 72 Blue Monster course at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa.

Jessica Carafiello continued to lead the way individually for FAU, shooting a 78 Saturday that left her in a tie for 14th place, 16 shots behind Princeton's Avery Kiser who shot her second consecutive one-under 71 to maintain her lead.

FAU's Sandi MacDougall's 79 was six shots better than her Friday effort while Anna-Claire Daniels improved by eight shots after an 82. Kendall Kirby's 85 left her in a tie for 61st at 168 and Maria Gutierrez carded a 90.

The final round of the tournament is scheduled for Sunday morning.
