Keim Leads Women's Golf at Jacksonville Classic

Ponta Vedra Beach, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women’s golf team finished its two–day Jacksonville Classic at the Marsh Landing Country Club, closing out the second and third rounds 12 strokes better than its first round.

Jennifer Keim lead the way for the Owls finishing 29th out of 81 competitors with a 79-76-77, 232
• Newcomer Amanda Leslie finished strong with a team best final round of 74, which was tied for tenth best, to finish 29th with an overall score of 80-78-74, 232
• Daniela Castaneda, a St. John’s transfer, finished fifth best on Par 3s (+1) and 11th best on Par 5s (Even) across all three rounds
• Overall, the Owls shot a 325-313-313, 951 improving on round average from its 325-330, 655 from last month’s Lady Falcon Invitational
