MUSCLE SHOALS, AL – The Florida Atlantic women’s golf team wrapped up day two of the Sun Belt Conference Championships, with Anna Wiklund leading the squad with a 79.
Wiklund improved seven strokes from the opening round and has a two-day team low of 165. Nicole Marino and Brooke McPoyle are four strokes behind her, at 169.
Marilyne Cadieux is next at 171, and Kayla DeSuza has a 180 after two rounds. The Owls’ team total is 674.
Denver has a 17-stroke lead in the team competition, while FIU’s Katie Mundy leads all individuals with a 141, 3-under par.
The final round will take place today on the Fighting Joe Course at the Shoals.
