Women's Golf Advances to 10th-Place at Cincinnati's Spring Invitational
Nicole Marino Tied for 25th with Anna Wiklund

CRYSTAL RIVER, FL - After tying for 11th on the first day of the University of Cincinnati's Spring Invitational, Florida Atlantic University's women's golf team advanced to 10th with a score of 311 in the second round. The team has earned a total score of 50-over 626 while competing against 16 teams at the Plantation Inn Golf Course.

Marilyn Cadieux, who had tied for 29th after the first round, improved her individual score by carding 3-over 75 to tie for 18th. Anna Wiklund and Nicole Marino tied for 25th with total scores of 11-over 155.

Emily Peters carded 83 during the second round to tie for 61 and Kayla DeSuza rounded out the Owls' finishers tying for 66th with 165 strokes total.

While the University of Cincinnati's Spring Invitational was scheduled to have a third round, the final day of play was cancelled due to weather. Florida Atlantic will compete in their final Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Monday, April 15 at Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
