FAU will Compete in Two More Rounds of the Tournament

CRYSTAL RIVER, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's golf team tied for 11th-place after the first day of the University of Cincinnati's Spring Invitational. Seventeen teams from across the country have gathered at the 6060 yard, par-72 Plantation Inn Golf Course for the three-day tournament.

Florida Atlantic carded a total 315 to tie with Embry-Riddle University. The team also placed in the top-10 for par 4 scoring.

Senior Anna Wiklund tied for 21st-place individually, taking the top finish for FAU. Marilyn Cadieux carded 6-over 78 tying for 29th.

Nicole Marino, Emily Peters, and Kayla DeSuza finished with rounds of 79,81, and 83, respectively.

The Owls will compete in two more rounds of Cincinnati's spring tournament in Crystal River, Florida.
