Women's Basketball Enters World Vision Challenge

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team looks to extend its winning streak at the World Vision Challenge, hosted by Texas Tech, Dec. 20-22. FAU opens play on Friday with a matchup against Abilene Christian at 9 p.m. ET. The Owls will then face host Texas Tech on Saturday before wrapping up the tournament with a battle against Jacksonville on Sunday

The Owls (6-2) have not lost since Nov. 10 when they fell by just three points at Ohio State. FAU averages 85.1 points per game which ranks as the best in the four-team field.

FAU has never faced Abilene Christian (7-4) or Saturday's opponent, host Texas Tech (4-4). The Owls hold a 14-3 advantage in their history against Jacksonville (3-5) and have won ten of the last 11 meetings against the Dolphins.
