The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team will have one last game at FAU Arena before a 12 day layoff due to final exams. The Owls face Eastern Michigan on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
"Eastern Michigan is a real good test out of the Mid-American Conference," said Head Coach Chancellor Dugan. "They're a very experienced group that will be looking to get back on the winning track."
The Eagles come into the game at 4-3, having lost their last three games in a row. They're led by sophomore guard Alyssa Pittman, who averages just under 20 points per game and has hit over 46 percent of her three-pointers. Forward Kelly Watts has also contributed for Eastern Michigan, scoring 10 points per game and leading the team in rebounds at just over six per game.
FAU comes into this game after getting a split in last weekend's FAU Holiday Classic. The Owls got a career-high 16 points from Breana Cox in Saturday's 74-58 win over Columbia. Brittany Bowe tied a career-high with 18 points on Sunday as the Owls fell to St. Bonaventure 78-72.

Also, bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Kids and get admission to any December FAU home basketball game for $2. Thursday is FAU faculty and staff appreciation night. Any FAU faculty or staff member can with their Owl Card can buy one ticket and get a second one for free. The first 50 fans in concessions will receive free popcorn at Thursday's game.
