BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team will go on the road for the first time in 2017-18. The Owls will take on Colorado on Wednesday at 9 p.m. (EST) at the Coors Event Center in Boulder, Colorado

GAME NOTABLES
This will be the first meeting between Florida Atlantic (0-1) and Colorado (1-1) on Wednesday. Both teams will be looking to bounce back after losses in their most recent games.

Head Coach Jim Jabir was an assistant coach at Colorado during the 2003-04 season. During that season, the Buffaloes went 24-8 on the season and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.

LAST TIME OUT
The Owls faced a tough opponent in Mercer on Sunday to open the season. The Bears came out with a 66-55 win. Redshirt junior Danneal Ford led all scorers with 20 points in her first official game back after sitting out last season. Ra'Kyra Gabriel had her first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both were career highs for the junior.

SCOUTING COLORADO
The Buffaloes are 1-1 on the season with a win at Samford and an overtime loss at North Carolina last week. Colorado is led by Alexis Robinson who is averaging 16.0 points per game in the first two games of the season.
