Women's Basketball Heads to Marshall, UTSA

Boca Raton, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team looks to improve its seed in the Conference USA tournament with three games left in the regular season. The Owls (13-13, 3-10 C-USA) hit the road for a pair of conference games at Marshall and UTSA.

On Wednesday, Feb. 16, FAU will face Marshall (9-17, 2-11 C-USA) for the first time in program history with a 7 p.m. tipoff in Huntington, W. Va. The Thundering Herd is led by Leah Scott, the only player averaging double-digit scoring, at 12 points per game.

On Saturday, the Owls travel to San Antonio to face UTSA for a 5 p.m. Eastern tipoff. The Roadrunners (13-13, 4-9 C-USA) also have just one player averaging double-figure scoring with Kamra King posting 14 points per contest.

FAU has set the Conference USA record for most 3-pointers made in conference games with 118 on the season. The Owls and Kimberly Smith have shattered the school records for 3-pointers in a season for the team and for an individual, respectively.
