Smith earned career high 33 points at Tulsa

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University women's basketball senior Kimberly Smith has earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors for her performances against UAB and Tulsa.
The Minneola, Fla. native set a school record with nine three-pointers in FAU's 91-86 win at Tulsa on Feb. 8. Smith also set her career high with 33 points against the Golden Hurricane. For the week, she averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds, picking up her first two career double-doubles.
Smith's seventh three-pointer of the game broke FAU's team record for most three-pointers in a season. Previously at 181, the Owls have made 186 with at least eight games remaining in their 2013-14 season. With her performance on Feb. 8, Smith has tied the school record with 66 three-pointers made this season and she ranks second all-time in career three-pointers made.
