Box Score HONOLULU, HI - Florida Atlantic University (0-3) suffered a 75-71 loss to the University of Wyoming (2-2) Sunday afternoon in the final round of the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, HI. Crystal Boyland led FAU with 18 points.

Wyoming jumped out to a 15-4 lead in the first 5:27 of the game before the Lady Owls battled back to trail just 42-38 at the half. The first half featured 17 Cowgirl fouls and 26 free throw attempts by FAU.

A jumper by Crytal Boyland with 17:43 left in the game gave FAU their first lead at 47-45. FAU would lead 49-47 before Wyoming went on a 10-2 run to take the lead for good.

The Lady Owls trailed 71-65 with 26 seconds left before Janka Deckerova hit a trey with 18 seconds left to cut it to 71-68. After a pair of free throws by Wyoming's Cherrith Wiersma, Deckerova hit another trey with eight seconds left to cut the lead to 73-71. Darci Arsene sealed the victory with a pair of free throws with four second left.

"We played better and gave ourselves an opportunity to win," said FAU head coach Chancellor Dugan. "That's what I was most pleased about today."

FAU had four players in double figures as Decekerova finished with 16. Chantale Jones had 15 while Tamica Pierce had 13 before fouling out.

Wyoming was led by Carrie Bacon who had 21 points and 10 rebounds. Arsene finished with 18 while Wiersma had 13.

FAU next hosts Samford December 1 in their Atlantic Sun Conference opener.
