BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University had four players in double figures in a 74-62 victory over Lynn University Friday night in an exhibition contest at FAU Gymnasium in Boca Raton. Trineca McCleod led the Lady Owls with 21 points and 12 rebounds while Angie Rodgers added 14.

In the second half, with FAU leading 48-37 with 13:06 left, the Lady Owls went on a 10-0 run to take a 58-37 lead with 9:52 remaining. The run included six points by McCleod, a junior college transfer from Daytona Beach C.C. The 21-point lead would be FAU's largest as Lynn would only draw as close as the final 12-point deficit.
"I was really impressed with the way we rebounded in the second half," said FAU head coach Chancellor Dugan. "We did a good job attacking the defensive glass which led to some easy scores."
For the game, FAU outrebounded Lynn 51-34 while shooting 46-percent compared to Lynn's 34-percent.
Lynn was led by Alshaa Hodges, who scored 29 points. Szilvia Sibalin and Precious Wright each added eight.
