FAU (10-11, 8-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) jumped out to a 16-10 lead with 13:15 left in the first half, but that's when Campbell (8-13, 4-6 A-Sun) took over the game. "We lost this game in the first half," said FAU head coach Chancellor Dugan. "You have to be ready every time you come out no matter who you're playing, and we weren't mentally prepared for this one. It's a very disappointing loss for us."

Crystal Boyland and Sharia Young each scored 10 for FAU. Tamica Pierce, FAU's leading scorer, was once again held in single-figures, scoring just eight in 21 minutes of action. Pierce was among six Lady Owls who battled foul trouble all night long. Campbell outshot FAU 50-percet to 44-percent. FAU outrebounded Campbell 45-40.

Florida Atlantic next hosts Gardner-Webb, Saturday, at 7:00pm at FAU Gymnasium.
