Not to be outdone, Campbell came back with a 10-0 run over the next 2:32 to lead 58-56 with 5:53 left. Boyland came right back with a three to give FAU the lead for good with 5:27 left. The Lady Owls would build as much as a seven-point lead with 32 seconds remaining on their way to the win.

"It was huge for us to be able to come back," said FAU head coach Chancellor Dugan after FAU had its four-game winning streak snapped on Saturday. "We didn't play well today, but I was the pleased with the way we gutted it out down the stretch."

For the game, Campbell outshot FAU 46 percent to 42 percent. The Lady Camels held a 36-35 edge on the boards which was an improvement from the last time the two teams met when Campbell controlled the boards 54-29. FAU forced Campbell into 23 turnovers and committed just 18.

The win gave FAU its first season sweep of Campbell and improved FAU to 3-1 on the year against the past two A-Sun champions.

"It's a big step for our program," said Dugan. "I'm not sure there were many people outside of our team that thought we could do it and hopefully we can continue to build upon what we've accomplished."
