About Pierce: Begins her second and final season at FAU...was named First-Team All-Conference as a junior after being honored as a Junior College All-American prior to joining the Lady Owls.

Junior (2001-02): Started all 31 games...led team in scoring with 16.0 points per game while averaging 6.9 rebounds...named First-Team All-Conference...finished third in the A-Sun in scoring and ninth in rebounding...barely missed becoming just the eighth Lady Owl to score 500 points (497)...scoring average was 12th best in FAU history...went 168-219 (.767) from the line which was good for sixth in the A-Sun in free throw percentage....led A-Sun in free throws and free throws attempted...scored in double-figures 25 times...had 20 or more points 10 times...had career-high 28 points January 9 against Central Florida...finished season with six double-doubles...hauled in a career-high 13 rebounds January 14 against Mercer...went through a stretch in February when she made 13 consecutive field goals...went a perfect 10-for-10 from the line February 11 at Belmont and February 23 against Jacksonville...missed the second half of the A-Sun Tournament title game March 9 against Georgia State due to an injury.

Junior College: Northeast Mississippi College in Booneville, MS...averaged 24.8 points and 11.3 rebounds as a sophomore...named All-America...named all-conference and all-state...team captain...all-region selection...played in same Mississippi All-Star game as teammate Crystal Boyland.

High School: Attended Towers High School in Decatur, GA...also played softball in high school.
