Freshman (2007-2008): Started all 28 games...made an immediate impact both in terms of scoring and on the boards...led the Sun Belt in scoring and rebounding among freshmen...finished in the top-20 in scoring and 10th in the league in rebounding overall...also finished third in the conference in blocked shots on a team that led the conference in that category...led the team in double-doubles with four, getting her first when she scored a career-high 20 points with 12 rebounds against Palm Beach Atlantic (11/15)...stepped on the court in Kentucky where her dad, Jack "Goose" Givens, made a name for himself and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds and 13 points against Kentucky (11/18)...went eight-of-10 from the field and scored 19 points in the Owls win over Eastern Michigan (12/6)...scored 19 points, with nine rebounds and a season-high five steals in the win over South Carolina State (12/22)...made a career-high three three-pointers en route to scoring 12 points and getting eight rebounds against South Alabama (1/3)...went eight of 16 from the field and put up 19 points and nine rebounds against North Texas (1/19)...had two double-doubles during conference play, scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against Denver (1/24) and getting a 19-point effort on a season-high nine field goals, along with 12 rebounds against Middle Tennessee (2/23).

High School: Prepped at The First Academy...coached by Steve Murray...led her team to the state title in 2006 and 2007...earned All-State honors in 2006 and 2007...three-sport athlete (volleyball and track)...named most improved in volleyball in 2005 and 2006...helped her AAU squad to a national championship in 2006.

Personal: Elementary education major...born April 28, 1989, in Lexington, KY...daughter of Jack and Linda Givens...father Jack played in the NBA and overseas.
