Corinth Evans begins her second season as a member of Chancellor Dugan's staff at Florida Atlantic. She joined FAU prior to the 2004-05 season.

Evans played one season at FAU in 2003-04. She played in 24 games and averaged 1.7 points and 1.4 assists as a reserve point guard. She scored a career-high 11 points in an overtime victory at Belmont on Feb. 7. She received the team's defensive player-of-the-year award.

Prior to coming to FAU, Evans attended Kentucky State University where she was an Academic All-Conference selection and the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sport-Scholar Award. She led the team in assists and steals both years. She was named Outstanding Freshman and Outstanding Sophomore.

Evans attended Kirkwood Senior High School where she was a standout on the basketball and track & field teams.

Evans is a native of St. Louis, MO.
